A quick painting I did for the first project of my Image manipulation class. The assignment was to compile real images into one landscape composition, then use photoshop as a painting tool to paint a landscape. This one took about 6-8 hours or so, I kinda feel like it could have turned out better. the color and visual depth seem a little flat to me.

It looks amazing Paul. The light from the windows really compliments the blue and makes the castle stand out.
I see what you mean. Though I do think it is still beautiful.

And in the dream I knew that he was goin' on ahead and he was fixin' to make a fire somewhere out there in all that dark and all that cold, and I knew that whenever I got there he would be there. And then I woke up.
Sweet Paul! The moon looks badass! Regarding the flatness you speak of, I really don't see any. The depth would be hard to show anyway because there is no horizon line. Looks sweet man!

Wow its like a large steaming bowl of badassery has just been poured onto my lap :p jk jk but again nice job man I'm envious.
This looks awesome Paul! The lighting looks really good, and I like how most of the piece is using blues except for the bright glowing yellow windows! The moon also looks awesome!
